In consultation with you, Anne will create the perfect (and fun!) session to achieve your vision.
Anne Milligan creates one of a kind equestrian PhotoPaintings for clients in her magical "Ride into Time" experience. Her art is strikingly unique, evoking the romance of a bygone era, capturing the individual spark of each subject, and exploring the human/animal bond.

The Photo Session
Each photo session consists of:
a PRE-SHOOT CONSULTATION via Skype or telephone. We will discuss your purpose for the photographs, your relationship with your horse and your ideas for your shoot including number of subjects, mood, venue and settings, costume and tack choice (if desired), activities (at liberty, in hand, headshots, bareback, riding, driving, etc), We will also settle on a date, time and location and deal with any logistical questions. You will be sent an information sheet to help you prepare.
FOR COSTUMED SESSIONS:
Click here to see some of the costumes choices for women. For men we offer medieval knight or Renaissance/Elizabethan courtier, Spanish matador, Spanish rider, Game of Thrones and Zorro.
For couples we can do medieval, Tudor/Elizabethan, Renaissance photographs, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey , Spanish Señor and Señorita or his and hers Zorro. We are continually developing costumes so let us know if there is a particular mood or era you'd like to recreate. Photographs of most costumes are available.
Note: While we do our best, we may not be able to offer all themes in all size costumes. Please note that it will be your responsibility if you choose not to wear a riding helmet. All riders must sign a liability waiver and model release (signed by parents/guardians for under 18s).
Anne will come to your stable, farm, or another agreed-upon venue. Note that additional travel charges may apply for areas more than 100 km from Perth Ontario
A single costumed photoshoot lasts up to two hours (half hour less without costume) from Anne's arrival to departure including finalization of settings, dress up, and an unlimited number of settings and shots within the allotted timeframe. Please note that, in order to maximize shooting time, a ground person will be required to help you with your horse.
Post Production
Within a week you will be notified via email that proofs are available for online viewing and selection in your own proof gallery. Theses images are selected by Anne based on your purpose, composition, mood and equine form. Choose the images you wish. Each image you choose will be professionally selected, cropped, straightened, **retouched and colour balanced according to Anne's unique style.
You can purchase other sized prints and digital images, canvas wraps, coffee table books, and metal prints which you can hang in your barn, arena or tack room right on the website by using the convenient shopping cart . Download our price list. More info on ordering
**Additional client-requested retouching, such as changing backgrounds, removing people, etc, is billed at $100.00 per hour in 1/4 hour increments.
You will receive your prints by mail.

1c) Add Costume Change - $34.99 (per person, 20 additional minutes onsite, maximum 1 costume per person per horse)
1d) Ground Person – If you don’t have a ground person to prepare your horse while you are getting dressed, or to get your horse's ears up during the shoot, we can supply one -

The Fine Print
Additional time for photoshoot will be charged at a rate of $40 per half hour.
Model release forms will be required (signed by parents/guardians for under 18).
No other photographing permitted during session.
